Director - Krista Waid
My name is Krista Waid. I am a homeschool mother of 2 wonderful children. My husband, Jeff, loves the Lord and his family very much. Jeff grew up in Hilliard and I was raised in Indiana. We met at Purdue University while participating in Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.
I grew up in a very musical home where my mother taught piano, my father played the trumpet, my sister played the French horn, and I played the flute. We all loved to sing with the choir! I have loved the Lord and music for as long as I can remember. I pray that your children will be blessed by their involvement in COCHC.

I am very excited to be able to assist Krista Waid with the choir again this year. I am not new to choir or to music. I studied voice performance at Anderson University and received my Masters of Music in vocal performance at The Ohio State University. I also play the piano and harp. Singing has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember and choral music has been instrumental in my musical development. I was also a voice teacher in the Hilliard area for nearly 20 years until our 4th child was born.
My husband, Ron, and I have 4 children whom I have homeschooled from the beginning. We attend Northwest Bible Church in Hilliard. God has blessed us immensely even through the trials of life. God has been an integral part of our lives for many years and I feel very blessed to be able to serve Him in this way, using the gifts He has entrusted to me.
